Before he helped define the sound of Jungle, Brockie's roots ran through underground soul, hip-hop and ragga sound system culture - a foundation that carried him straight into Hardcore and, by the early 90s, into the explosion of Jungle itself.
Behind the decks since 1988, Brockie is a genuine day-one pioneer. In 1991 he co-founded Kool FM 94.5, still the longest-running and most influential Drum & Bass radio station in the world.
